The British Horse Society
We provide welfare services to horses and advice for owners. We campaign and lobby for key equestrian issues on behalf of all horses and riders and offer the world’s leading equestrian qualifications and approvals system.
If you’re passionate about dressage, at whatever level, unaffiliated or affiliated, British Dressage is here to help further your enjoyment and ensure the sport continues to go from strength to strength.
World Horse Welfare
We are an international horse charity that improves the lives of horses in the UK and around the world through education, campaigning, and hands-on care.
The National Equine Welfare Council
The National Equine Welfare Council (NEWC) works to protect horses, ponies, donkeys and mules, by providing support, guidance and a communication forum to equine organisations, businesses and charities to help raise equine welfare standards nationwide.
We, British Eventing, are the National Governing Body for the sport of Eventing in Great Britain.
Eventing is a unique combination of all the disciplines of dressage, cross country over fixed fences and show jumping in one exciting activity.
Somerford was established as an equestrian training centre in 1976. The facilities offered are built and maintained to the highest standard.
Trailblazers competitions in all disciplines can be treated as simply unaffiliated classes – just pay the entry fee in order to compete. At Trailblazers first round competitions, competitors are awarded a qualification pack towards the second round competitions, if they achieve the following when competing in the different disciplines.
The British Equestrian Federation
Is the recognised governing body of horse sports in the UK. Through its eighteen Members (fifteen Full Members and three Associate Members) the BEF represents and works to promote the interests of the 4.2 million riders and carriage drivers in Britain.
